Pop Artist Rudy Meyer grew up in the French Riviera, a region with a rich history in art. The past 15 years, Rudy has traveled to more than 120 countries. He explored art galleries, studios and museums in every one of them. Every visit draws Rudy’s inspiration and shapes his artistic practice.

Rudy Meyer is revealing a collection of iconic portraits titled “Game Changers.” These pop and poetic artworks feature icons who have altered the landscape of human history.

In his paintings, Rudy delves deep into the concept of pop culture through an interplay of unique mediums. His process of destruction and re-shaping conveys a darker vision of popular art, transforming it into visual poetry. This pop art series fuses acrylics, ink, spray paint, and multiple hand-pulled silk screen printing layers to deliver impactful imagery.

The iconic characters often appear multiple times in each artwork to represent the numerous layers of the personalities of each individual: the failures and the successes, the dark and the bright sides.

Every figure represents the unconventionality and courage the artist has found inspiring in his art and life.
